THE 96th ASEAN Business Advisory Council meeting (ASEAN-BAC), led by ASEAN-BAC Chair Mr Arsjad Rasjid PM (ASEAN-BAC Indonesia), was held by a virtual format on 8 March 2023 and Senior Executive Advisor U Zaw Min Win, CEO U Moe Kyaw and officials from UMFCCI attended it.
The meeting covered various topics, including a summary of proceedings from the 95th ASEAN-BAC meeting, the ASEAN-BAC Malaysia Council’s introduction programme for new members, legacy projects of ASEAN countries, and the draft report for the AEM retreat dialogue.
The meeting was attended by officials from Viet Nam, Thailand, Brunei, Malaysia, Indonesia, Laos, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore and Cambodia. ASEAN-BAC Myanmar members, Senior Executive Advisor U Zaw Min Win, CEO U Moe Kyaw and IR advisor U Tint Swe of UMFCCI were present at the event.
