THE respect-paying ceremony of graduation officers from the 15th, 16th, 17th, 18th and 19th Intakes of the Defence Services Academy took place at Anawrahta Hall of Yangon Command Headquarters yesterday morning, attended by graduate officers from the 15th to 19th intakes of DSA and faculty members.
On behalf of the graduation officers, a graduation officer from No 19 Intake of the DSA explained the purpose of holding the respect-paying ceremony.
A graduation officer from the No 15 Intake read a message of paying respect sent by Pro Tem President U Myint Swe of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar from the 15th Intake of DSA to faculty members and a graduation officer of No 19 Intake read a message sent by Chairman of the State Administration Council Prime Minister Senior General Min Aung Hlaing from the 19th Intake of DSA to the faculty members.
Those graduation officers paid respect to the faculty members. On behalf of the faculty members, a veteran teacher spoke words of advice. The graduation officers presented gifts to faculty members.
Officials of the organizing committee presented certificates of honour to graduation officers and well-wishers, and they all posed for group photos together with faculty members.
