ACCORDING to a report on the discovery of three suspi- cious bags in the ChaungU Basic Education High School in ChaungU Township, Sagaing Region, on the afternoon of 11 June, security personnel went to the school and investigated the area and found three home- made mines made of iron pipes in three black plastic bags located in the north of the school.

The security personnel removed the mines and cleared the area, it is reported. In order to identify and take action against the perpetrators, security forces are investigating, and the people are urged to against the terrorist NUG and PDF and report any information about them to the relevant administration bodies and security forces.

The State Government opened the basic education schools on 2 June to ensure that the country’s future generation take full advantage of education opportunities, and providing

school uniforms, stationery, textbooks, and COVID-19 vaccination are being intensified.

However, the so-called NUG terrorist organization and its affiliates, the PDF terrorists, are using various methods such as intimidation and coercion of teachers and parents, arrest and killing, burning of educational buildings, mine blasts, burning of textbooks and lootings to discourage the education of children, to create an uneducated class, and instill

fear to support them.
