CIVIL service personnel and their families, and people above 18 from various backgrounds, including people with disabilities and people from IDP camps in Mongyai Township, northern Shan State received the first jabs of the COVID-19 vaccine yesterday.

The vaccination was systematically carried out following the COVID-19 rules and regulations issued by the Ministry of Health, and department officials, members of civil society organizations and health care workers work together for the vaccination.

A total of 855 people were vaccinated yesterday in Mongyai Township, it is reported.
