Order 429/2021

5th Waning of Tawthalin 1383 ME 25 September 2021

 

THE Ministry of Health has issued this order in line with provisions stipulated in Section 21-(b) of the Prevention and Control of Communicable Diseases Law.

 

1. The ministry is working around the clock for the prevention of the acute respiratory disease Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and had previously issued the Stay-at-Home Orders in certain townships of Nay Pyi Taw and Regions/States.

 

2. However, due to the strict adherence to COVID-19 prevention by the people living in the respective townships, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 has decreased in the last 14 days; lower chance of transmitting the infection to others by the patients with laboratory-confirmed COVID-19; public awareness programmes conducted by the department concerned, organizations and people during the stay-at-home period; the close contacts with confirmed cases are tested and it shows no new cases in past 14 days; and the considerable improvement in COVID-19 prevention measures conducted by township administration departments, health officials, organizations, volunteers and public, the number of new patients has dropped.

 

3. Therefore, it is hereby announced that the Stay-at-Home Orders issued for the following townships in respective Regions ended at 4 am on 26-9-2021.

 

(A) Sagaing Region

(1) Kalay

(2) Sagaing

(3) Tamu

 

(B) Bago Region

(1) Pyu

(2) Bago

 

(C) Ayeyawady Region

(1) Myaungmya

 

4. Although these townships are removed from the stay-at-home list, they must follow the COVID-19 health rules of the Ministry of Health.
