UNION Minister for Transport and Communications Admiral Tin Aung San made an inspection tour to the subordinate departments in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.

 During the tour, he inspected Myanmar Post (Head Office), Nay Pyi Taw Central Post Office, Information Technology and Cyber Security Department, data centre of Myanma Posts and Communications, Mobile Communication Exchange, Nay Pyi Taw Railway Station and New Locomotive Plant (Nay Pyi Taw).

The Union Minister and party fulfilled the needs of the construction of e-Government Integrated Data Centre while visiting the Information Technology and Cyber Security Department.

 He said special attention needs to pay cyber security as it is an important task in the IT age, adding the need to systematically develop human resources and to formulate and implement international standards, laws, rules and regulations that meets the need of Myanmar. Afterwards, the Union Minister and party arrived at the Nay Pyi Taw Railway Station and observed the presentation on the design work of the construction of railways museums to be built in Nay Pyi Taw Station and Mahlwagon Station. The Union Minister and party also inspected the proposed land plots for the museums and the Nay Pyi Taw New Locomotive Plant.
