SECTION 144 has been imposed in the townships of Yangon Region on 8 and 9 February 2021.

In 44 townships of Yangon, except Cocogyun Township, it is prohibited from assembly, holding mass talks, procession, protests, destroying and violent acts, with the restriction on assembly of five or more than five persons in public areas of these townships, and the curfew from 8 pm to 4 am, according to the Office of Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services.
