The Japanese Government and its people donated COVID-19 medical devices to the Ministry of Health and Sports, yesterday morning in Yangon.

At the donation ceremony, Mr Takimi Kazuyuki, the Counsellor of the Embassy of Japan in Myanmar, handed over the second batch of donation which included 10 sets of mobile X-Rays, and 100 sets of syringe pumps and 100 sets of suction pumps to the Myanmar officials.

Japan has donated medical equipment and supplies for the COVID-19 Intensive Care Units in Myanmar during the outbreak and plans are underway to provide ambulances.
