An online course on fertilizer use and environmental conservation will be conducted free for the garden owners in PyinOoLwin Township of Mandalay Region.

U Okkar Kyaw, General Secretary of Mandalay Region Chamber of Commerce and Industry, said that their organization would run the course in coordination with the German Chambers of Industry and Commerce (IHK) and the Union of Myanmar Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry (UMFCCI).

He also said, “The course will provide training on how to prevent poisoning while using agricultural chemicals. It will also train on dos and don’ts of chemicals used during the production time as the excess chemical residues in the crops would have caused problems in exports of produce.”
