THE Central Committee on Administration of Vacant, Fallow and Virgin Lands organized its 31st coordination meeting yesterday morning.

Union Minister for Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation Dr Aung Thu, in his capacity as the Chairman of the committee discussed forest plantations, implementation of regional development projects in the places which cannot be recognized as reserved forest, the use of vacant, fallow and virgin lands, applications for land use certificate Form-7 and land revenue.

Director-General for Agricultural Land Management and Statistics U Thet Naing Oo briefed the facts related to the vacant, fallow and virgin lands management and the attendees coordinated the discussion.

The meeting was also attended by Deputy Minister U Hla Kyaw, the Permanent Secretary U Kyaw Min Oo and other committee members of relevant departments.
