The Ministry of Education continues its online seminar to draft the National Education Strategic Plan (2021-2030) yesterday.
Union Minister Dr Myo Thein Gyi discussed on betterment for NESP (2021-2030), the continuation of the Comprehensive Education Sector Review (CESR) and NESP (2016-2020) and explained 10-year period for implementation of SDG-4, MSDP, OECD’s Learning Compass (2030) and UNESCO Future of Education (2030). The Union Minister also highlighted the strategies and components for powerpoint presentations conducted by the international and local experts, NGOs, INGOs, civil society organizations and other relevant officials.
He recommended lifelong learning opportunities, quality education system especially for students in remote areas, implementation of Blended Learning which is a combination of High-Tech Learning and High-Touch Learning and cooperation work to ensure the quality schools, organizations and universities which guarantee the 21st-Century Skills and Competencies. The Permanent Secretary and Directors-General explained the process in drafting NESP (2021-2030) and the other attendees coordinated the meeting.
