The World’s Biggest Book Sale, the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale, held a press conference on 16 December to provide details about this year’s Online Sale and their plans for the Sale’s future. Present for the press conference were the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale Co-Founders Andrew Yap and Jacqueline Ng, as well as U Myo Aung, Director of Ready 2 Read (Myanmar) and organizer of the Big Bad Wolf Book Sale in Myanmar since its debut in 2019.
The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale will be returning to Myanmar from December 23-January 2 – but this time the event will be held entirely online at https://comingsoon.bigbadwolfbooks.com/, which will go live at 12 am on 23 December. Redesigned to cater to the current need for safe browsing, the Big Bad Wolf Online Book Sale will offer 20 million English-language books and over 40,000 book titles at up to 90% off recommended retail prices.
“The biggest challenge in launching the Online Book Sale was creating a platform that is user-friendly and gives our customer a similar experience to when they visit our physical Big Bad Wolf Book Sale,” Andrew Yap said. “We wanted our customers to experience a hassle-free shopping atmosphere where they can browse through our millions of books in the comfort and safety of their homes. Based on our experience running Big Bad Wolf Online Book Sale in other countries, we had the opportunity to make enhancements to our e-commerce platform to ensure we’re able to provide a better online shopping experience. We believe we have equipped ourselves with the best upgrades to run the Book Sale this time.”
