The 46th Rakhine State Day was held in Sittway Township yesterday morning. The state government organized the ceremony at its office in accordance with the health guidelines of the Ministry of Health and Sports.

During the event, Rakhine State Chief Minister U Nyi Pu read out the message on the occasion of 46th Rakhine State Day sent by President U Win Myint. Then, Minister for Rakhine State Security and Border Affairs Colonel Min Than read out the message sent by Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing. The Chief Minister also warmly greeted the attendees.

Chief Justice of the Rakhine State High Court Daw Wah Wah Tun, Chairperson of State Election Sub-Commission Daw Tin Hlaing, State Hluttaw Deputy Speaker U Mya Than, State Ministers, State Auditor-General Daw Yin Hla, Heads of Regional Control Command (Sittway) and military personnel, departmental officials, representatives of political parties and town elders also attended the event.
