U Aung Myint, Director-General from the Strategic Studies and Training Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, signed the book of condolences for the demise of former French President Mr Valery Giscard d’Estaing at the Embassy of France in Yangon yesterday.

The third President of France, who took office from 1974 to 1981, died aged 94.
