A ceremony to warmly welcome back the triumphant frontline Tatmadaw members who diligently served duties in Kyaukpyu Township, Rakhine State, was held at the local battalion in Sittway, Rakhine State, yesterday.

Officers of the Sittway Station of Western Command, members of Myanmar Police Force and relevant departmental officials, and local ethnic people welcomed back returnee soldiers with heartfelt enthusiasm.

The attendees of event welcomed back the victorious Tatmadaw members with sprigs of Eugenia and presented the cash prizes to the returnees. The event included traditional dance and music performances.

Officials had lunch together with the victorious Tatmadaw members.
