A delegation led by Mr Evgeny Grigoryev, Member of the Government of Saint Petersburg, the Russian Federation, and Chair of the Committee for External Relations, departed from Yangon by air on 18 October.

Yangon Region Chief Minister U Soe Thein, regional ministers, Russian Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Iskander Azizov, officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Strategic Studies and Training Department, and ethnic students saw the delegation off at Yangon International Airport.

During the farewell at the airport lounge, the Yangon Region Chief Minister and regional ministers presented a photo album documenting the delegation’s visit and commemorative gifts to Mr Evgeny Grigoryev.
