Macau-Myanmar Friendship Association, Macau-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce and the Association of Wong Clansmen in Macau donated masks, medical equipment and COVID-19 Test Kits to Myanmar.

The donation ceremony was held in the Myanmar Embassy in Beijing on 3 November.

During the ceremony, Myanmar Ambassador to the People’s Republic of China U Myo Thant Pe explained the arrangement of the donation and the plan to transport to Myanmar. Chairperson of the Macau-Myanmar Friendship Association Mr Huang Qiong Cheng and Chairperson of the Macau-Myanmar Chamber of Commerce Mr Huang Delai explained the reason for the donation.

After the Myanmar Ambassador had expressed words of thanks for the COVID-19 medical equipment, he returned the certificates of honour to the donors.

The donated medical equipment will be transported to the National-Level Central Committee on COVID-19 Prevention, Control and Treatment.
