FOR the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) to be held in December 2025, application forms will be sold from 15 to 17 August for novices, monks, nuns and those under 10 years old, said the JLPT organizing committee, Myanmar Association of Japan Alumni.

The exam is scheduled on 7 December in Yangon and Mandalay, and the duration of selling and accepting applications is from 15 to 17 August for Yangon and from 15 to 16 August for Mandalay.

Exam fee and application fee are K57,000 for N1, N2 and N3 and K52,000 for N4 and N5. For novices, monks, and nuns, a copy of a religious ID card and two photos are required. For those under 10 years old, a copy of the birth certificate and two photos are required.

The application will be available at the JLPT Test Management Centre (MAJA) office, located at Snow Garden Housing in Thingangyun Township, as well as at the MAJA Mandalay branch, located at Mandalay Swan Hotel in Chanayethazan Township, from 9 am to 3 pm. The acceptance of applications will be at the same locations.
