UNION Minister for Labour, Immigration and Population and wife Daw Mya Theingi handed over the collective cash donation of officials and staff members to the Ministry of Social Welfare, Relief and Resettlement yesterday afternoon.

The cash donation is aimed for the childcare centre established in Nay Pyi Taw by the Association for Prevention, Care and Protection of Abandoned Children.

Union Minister Dr Win Myat Aye expressed thanks for the donation that will be used for early childhood care and development services of the Social Welfare Department including protections for single mothers and the abandoned children.

At the ceremony, Daw Mya Theingi, wife of MoLIP Union Minister, presented K10 million for one cash endowment to the Union Minister Dr Win Myat Aye and received the certificate of honour.
