FURTHER, 182 EPS Myanmar workers were sent to the Republic of Korea through the Public Overseas Employment Agency (POEA) on 22 April, according to the Myanmar Embassy in the Republic of Korea.
Of 182, 102 are re-entry workers, 56 are new agriculture and livestock workers, and 24 are new manufacturing workers.
Myanmar workers arrived at Incheon Airport from Yangon on 22 April on a Korean airline KE 490 flight, and the Myanmar labour attaché from Seoul welcomed them, advised what they follow, and provided necessary assistance.
On 19 March, POEA sent 58 manufacturing workers, 25 forestry workers, 19 construction workers, 7 service workers (one is a woman) and 15 agriculture and livestock workers, totalling 124 EPS workers.
According to data released by the embassy, 107 manufacturing workers and 37 agriculture and livestock workers, totalling 144, were sent on 15 January, and 139 manufacturing workers (19 are forestry workers) and 8 construction workers, totalling 147, were sent on 12 February.
