Shweli (Ruili) Red Cross Society in China contributed COVID-19 diagnostic kits worth Chinese Yuan 2,017,600 (nearly K 390 million) to Muse in Myanmar on 14 October.

The donation ceremony was attended by Ruili Mayor Mr Xie Dapeng, Muse District Deputy Administrator U Okkar, and officials from the two sides’ foreign affairs departments, Red Cross Societies, health and disease control organizations.

The donated diagnostic equipment can test nearly 2,000 persons a day. A team of four technicians from Shweli also came to Muse and gave trainings on the use of the diagnostic machines.
