The Ayeyawady Foundation which had involved in the prevention and treatment of COVID-19 disease donated hospital equipment and necessary cash assistance to the South Okkalapa General Hospital yesterday. Ma Eaint Hmuu Zaw and Ko Ye Mann Zaw from the Foundation presented 10 million kyats and hospital equipment to South Okkalapa General Hospital Medical Superintendent Dr Win Maw Oo and the Superintendent returned the certificate of honour.

The Foundation has been donating medical supplies to COVID-19 hospitals since March and medical insurances were provided to doctors and health workers. The Ayeyawady Foundation, under the guidance of the Ministry of Health and Sports, is building the Ayeyawady Centres at the Thuwanna Football Stadium and the National Football Academy (Yangon) to treat COVID-19 patients as well as providing COVID-19 medical treatment in other regions and states.
