The Myanmar Airways International relief flight landed at the Yangon Internaitonal Airport yesterday bringing back a total of 107 Myanmar nationals via Incheon airport of the Republic of Korea. Among these returnees, 4 Myanmar nationals were from Canada while 1 from Germany, 4 from Hong Kong 6 from Indonesia, 3 from Italy, 74 from ROK, 1 from Norway, 7 from Russian Federation, 4 from Sri Lanka and 3 from the US.
The Ministry of Labour, Immigration and Population, the Ministry of Health and Sports and the Yangon Region government arranged 7-day quarantine at specific places or designated hotels, followed by the 7-day home quarantine.
In accordance with the directives of National-Level Central Committee on Prevention, Control and Treatment of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19), the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in coordination with the Myanmar embassies abroad and other relevant ministries in Myanmar, has organized 26th relief flights from the ROK.—
