SUBVERSIVE media outlets spread false information that claimed the census in Ayeyawady Region includes questions about military service.

The nationwide census was initially scheduled to take place from 1 to 15 October 2024, but the deadline has been extended to 31 October for those who have not yet been counted. Census enumerators are systematically collecting data through door-to-door visits, using a household questionnaire consisting of 68 questions and an organizational questionnaire with 18 questions. They are not asking any additional questions. According to a relevant official, the public has been cooperating fully by providing accurate and complete information.

Consequently, this news is a deliberate fabrication by malicious media outlets for undermining public support through baseless accusations motivated by jealousy and hatred.
