MYANMAR Ambassador to Nepal, U Myo Myint Maung, attended the “Phulpati Parade” held by the Nepali Army in Kathmandu on 10 October, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The “ Phulpati Parade” is organized by the Nepali Army to mark the seventh day of the ten-day-long Dashain Festival. It is reported that the Myanmar Ambassador to Nepal, U Myo Myint Maung, participated in the event following an invitation from the Chief of Army Staff of Nepal General Ashok Raj Sigdel.
The ceremony was attended by Nepali President Ram Chandra Paudel, who took salute of the Guard of Honour at the parade. Other attendees included Vice President Ramsahaya Prasad Yadav, Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, the Speakers of Parliament, Deputy Prime Ministers, ministers, high-ranking government officials, and heads of diplomatic missions based in Nepal.
