UNION Minister for Electric Power U Nyan Tun received the delegation led by Mr Liu Yong, Deputy Governor of Yunnan Province of the People’s Republic of China, yesterday morning at the reception hall of the Union Minister’s office in Nay Pyi Taw.

They cordially discussed matters on continued work between the Ministry of Electric Power and the Yunnan Provincial Government, the successful development of the electricity sector between Myanmar and China, and continued cooperation from various energy sources for the development of Myanmar’s electricity sector.

Deputy Minister U Aye Kyaw, heads of department and officials from the Department of Economic Affairs and Department of Energy of Yunnan Province of the People’s Republic of China attended the event.
