Nay Pyi Taw Council Chairman U Than Tun Oo, accompanied by council member Col Ye Moe and departmental officials, inspected the condition of the asphalt road near Zeephyupin village in Pyinmana Township yesterday afternoon, urging the officials to promptly complete the reconstruction project and take necessary actions to ensure the road’s continuity.
Subsequently, he examined the construction of a 80-foot two-layer temporary bailey bridge at the site where the approach road to the Zeephyupin Village bridge across the Paunglaung River had been damaged by water erosion.
In the morning, members of the Nay Pyi Taw Development Committee and officials visited Basic Education Post-Primary School in Ayemyintthaya Village and the village’s roads, including the road between Aingsauk Village and Kyaukchet Villages, Peintaw School, and Panmyaingle Garden. They also inspected the cleaning process for the silt and mud left behind by the floods, as well as other resettlement operations in the area.
In the afternoon, they checked the readiness of disaster rescue teams at Zabuthiri Hall in the Nay Pyi Taw Council Office. At the event, Nay Pyi Taw Council Member Col Ye Moe gave a speech. They then viewed grouping of staff and readiness of machinery, equipment, necessary materials, and vehicles for responding to natural disasters.
