A total of 115 people were hospitalized in Chaungcha village, Tatkon Township of Nay Pyi Taw, after consuming biryani, chicken and potato curry and egg and tomato curry donated by well-wishers on 17 September.
According to the Ministry of Health, all the patients are in stable condition, and no deaths have been reported.
Medical teams from Tatkon (100-bed) Hospital, Tatkon Township Public Health Department and Nyaunglon Village rural health centre conducted field studies and provided healthcare services on that day.
Similarly, other medical teams from Nay Pyi Taw Public Health Department, Nay Pyi Taw General Hospital (100-bed) and Tatkon Township Public Health Department conducted field studies and disease control measures yesterday.
The Ministry of Health urged well-wishers to donate warm and hygienic food for the natural disaster-affected victims and management teams and health staff of the temporary relief camp to make sure that the donated foods are clean and hygienic.
