THE second Pyidaungsu Hluttaw convened the 3rd day of its 15th regular session yesterday, and MPs continued discussion about the Euro 50 million loan from the Government of Poland and the first section of Joint Public Accounts Committee Report (16/2019).
MP U San Myint from Ayeyawady Region constituency 3 supported the loan plan as the proposed rubbish recycling project could help create a clean environment and prevent environmental impact of pollution. He added the project could create opportunities for foreign investments and employments.

A reception to mark the National Day of Australia was held at the M Gallery Hotel in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday.
First, the reception was opened by playing the national anthems of Myanmar and Australia.
At the event, Australian Ambassador Ms Andrea Faulkner and Union Minister for Education Dr Myo Thein Gyi extended greetings, followed by a commemorative group photo session involving the Union Minister and wife, and the Australian Ambassador and attendees.

THE second day meeting of Pyidaungsu Hluttaw’s 15th regular session continued discussions yesterday about the Euro 50 million ODA loans from the Government of Poland and debated the first section of Joint Public Accounts Committee Report(16/2019).
The ODA loan is intended for implementing rubbish recycling project in Yangon municipal area, proposed by the Yangon Region Government.

THE Education Development Implementation Conference (Basic Education Sector) 2020 was held at the Myanmar International Convention Centre II (MICC-II) yesterday afternoon.
During the second session of conference, Union Minister for Education said the conference was aimed to find solutions in reforming basic education sector with short term and long term plans in accordance with the National Education Strategic Plan to be able to generate capable human resources for the country.

THE finals of the 32nd Police Chief Track and Field Championship and an awards ceremony were held yesterday at the Kyaikasan ground in Yangon.
Officials from the Myanmar Police Force (MPF) and their families, the Deputy Chief of MPF Police Maj-Gen Myo Swe Win, athletes, and sports enthusiasts attended the event.
At the event, Police Maj-Gen Myo Swe Win delivered a speech and presented awards to the winners of competitions. The championship was claimed by the traffic police force team.

THE Ministry of Information had received approval from the Union government and announced the Printing and Publishing Enterprise Bylaw with Notification No. 48/2014 on 10 October 2014. All applications for licenses will be reviewed and issued in adherence to this bylaw.
