Deputy Speaker U Tun Tun Hein of the Pyithu Hluttaw received Chair Mrs Renate Kunast of the German-ASEAN Parliamentary Friendship Group at the Hluttaw Guest Hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.
During the meeting, they cordially exchanged the views on the enhancement of bilateral relations and cooperation between Germany and Myanmar, the Hanns Seidel Foundation’s assistance to Myanmar Parliament, democracy, human rights and elections in Myanmar, the improvement of bilateral trade and investment and legislation process of Myanmar Parliament among others.
Present on the occasion were Pyithu Hluttaw Affairs Committee Chairpersons U Zaw Thein and U Khin Aye, Committee Secretaries U Bo Bo Oo and U Khin Maung Soe and officials with the Pyithu Hluttaw Office.
