THE Myanmar Food Processors and Exporters Association (MFPEA) will hold its sixth exhibition, Myanmar Food Expo 2020, from 14 to 16 February at Fortune Plaza, Yangon.

More than 180 showrooms from over 120 companies will be displayed at Food Expo 2020. At the expo, domestic and foreign investment businesses, supporting industry businesses to develop the food sectors, domestic and foreign wholesalers, distributors and retailers, domestic and foreign producers, export and import enterprises, technology and advisory services, and businesses from the related departments and associations will also participate in the expo.

“This expo will be held with five objectives. The main purpose is to display locally produced food at the same place and same time. Moreover, a forum will be held during the expo to establish the needed infrastructure related to the production of quality food in Myanmar. This forum will be held in cooperation with MFPEA, as well as entrepreneurs and government organizations. This is one of the important forums for our food production businesses,” said an official from MFPEA.
