PRESIDENT U Win Myint and First Lady Daw Cho Cho who were in Taunggyi, the capital of Shan State, accompanied by Union Ministers Lt-Gen Ye Aung, Dr. Aung Thu and U Ohn Win, Chief Minister of Shan State Dr. Lin Htut, Chief of Myanmar Police Force Police Lt-Gen Aung Win Oo and officials, left the city by car and arrived in Hopong Township in Pa-O Self-Administered Zone.
The President and the First Lady and entourage were welcomed by Chairman U Khun San Lwin and members of the Leading Body of the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone and Pa-O people. The President cordially greeted members of the welcoming party.
Later, the President and the First Lady and entourage paid obeisance to Hopong Novice Monk Shin Porisa and presented robes and other offertories to him in Htansan Cave.
They then, looked around the Cave, paid homage to Buddha images and offered flowers, water and fruits.
Afterwards, they arrived at the Htansan Shwedagon Pagoda, a replica of the Shwedagon in Yangon, and were welcomed by Pa-O people. The president cordially conversed with them.

They then posed for documentary photos together with Chairman U Khun San Lwin and members of the Leading Body of the Pa-O Self-Administered Zone.
In the afternoon, the President, the First Lady and entourage left Heho Airport by special Tatmadaw flight and arrived back in Nay Pyi Taw.
