Yesterday, Secretary-General Mr Xu Zhanwei from the Chinese Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (CECCM) and Economic and Commercial Counsellor Mr Ouyang Daobing from the Chinese Embassy donated a total of five kinds of relief supplies to Office 1 of the Ministry of Investment and Foreign Economic Relations to support earthquake-affected staff.
Union Minister for Investment and Foreign Economic Relations Dr Kan Zaw expressed his gratitude for the donation of essential items such as blankets, mosquito nets, generators, instant noodles, and drinking water for the earthquake-stricken staff. He also mentioned that since the rainy season is approaching, there is a need to ensure shelter for the staff, therefore, requested the donation of prefabricated houses. Furthermore, he welcomed any kind of assistance that could be provided.
Following this, the Union minister, the director-general, and senior officials received the relief supplies donated by the Chinese Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Myanmar (CECCM) and the Union minister presented a certificate of appreciation in return.
