1. Terrorists opened fire with heavy weapons at the opening ceremony of the archway to commemorate the 71st Anniversary of Kayah State Day in front of the state hall of Kayah State in Loikaw on 15 January.

2. It was clear that the terrorist act of firing heavy weapons and destruction was committed with attempts to intentionally destroy the commemorative ceremony of the local ethnic people as well as the intention of killing innocent people. The Myanmar Motion Picture Organization strongly condemns any terrorist organization that carried out such an act of terror.
