STATE Administration Council member Union Minister for Defence General Mya Tun Oo, accompanied by the Sagaing Region chief minister and the commander of the Sagaing Command, met officers, other ranks and their families of the local station in Lahe of the Naga Self-Administered Zone, Sagaing Region, and provided food aids and COVID-19 prevention gear on 14 July.
The Union minister and party then arrived at the Lahe People’s Hospital and observed the COVID-19 vaccination for local people. He also met town elders, local ethnic people, and traditional cultural troupes at the Naga Traditional Literature and Culture Museum in Lahe and discussed regional development activities. The Union minister and party also visited the Women’s Vocational School in Lahe and provided cash assistance and food to departmental officials. He cordially greeted trainees and those present at the meeting and observed the artistic creation of the trainees. In the evening, the Union minister, accompanied by the Union Election Commission Chairman and officials went to the Theravada Buddhist Missionery Monastery and Nunnery in Lahe and provided offertories.
