SAC Chairman Prime Minister Commander-in-Chief of Defence Services Senior General Min Aung Hlaing, in his speech on peace on 22 April 2022, called on leaders and two members of each ethnic armed organization-EAO to attend the meeting in order to end armed conflicts in the whole country. It will mark 2022 as the peace year as ethnic nationalities have not fully experienced its essence yet for 75 years since Myanmar’s independence.

The Myanmar Writers Association supports Senior General Min Aung Hlaing’s call as it offers the genuine peace that all ethnic peoples aspire to.
