THE third day of the 57th Myanma Gems Emporium continued yesterday at Mani Yadana Jade Hall in Nay Pyi Taw.

Starting from the morning, local and foreign jewellers checked the pieces of pearl, jewel items and jade stones put on display at the Mani Yadana Jade Hall.

The jewellers inspected the 110 lots of pearl from series 221 to series 330 for sale and placed bids inside the tender boxes.

After that, the officials opened the bidding for 110 lots of pearl from series 221 to series 330 out of 330 lots of pearl.

Next, officials opened Tender No. 3 at 12 noon and announced the sale of 110 lots of pearl.

On 23 April, 220 lots of pearl were sold through open bidding to foreign and local jewellers.

On the fourth day of the exhibition, 120 lots of gems, which will be on display from 22 to 24 April, will be accepted and sold through the open bidding.

Lots of pearl are priced in US dollars during this exhibition.

Gems and jade lots are priced in Euros and foreign jewellers will make payment in US dollars, and Yuan while local jewellers will make payment in US dollars, Yuan and Kyat.

The 57th Myanma Gems Emporium is being held at Mani Yadana Jade Hall from 22 to 28 April.

From 22 to 24 April, 330 lots of pearl were sold through open bidding. A total of 120 lots of gems will be auctioned on 25 April and 2,000 lots of jade will be auctioned from 26 to 28 April.
