CHAIRMAN of the Leading Committee for Organizing the Armed Forces Day Chief of the General Staff (Army, Navy and Air) General Maung Maung Aye presented awards to the prize winning parade companies at the 77th Armed Forces Day Parade at the Thittat Parade Ground in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday morning.

At the ceremony, Quartermaster-General Lt-Gen Kyaw Swa Lin presented honorary trophies and cash awards to the relevant parade companies which secured the best awards in flag bearer and military band events.

Adjutant-General Lt-Gen Myo Zaw Thein presented honorary trophies and cash awards to relevant parade companies which secured the first, second and third prizes in parade, military songs, and military disciplined events.

General Maung Maung Aye presented honorary trophies and cash awards for the first model company award to the company representing the Office of the Commander-in-Chief (Navy), the second to the company representing Directorate of Military Engineers and the third to the company representing the Directorate of Signals respectively.

Later, the General spoke words of honour and the ceremony came to an end.
