THE terrorists attacked the security members in Kyonpyaw Township of Ayayawady Region. It left one security member injured and three people dead, and two were arrested together with the homemade guns. Some of the media outlets including DVB expressed the case on Facebook by covering the true case.

They stated the news like a teacher sent information to the officials and it caused civilian casualties unnecessarily. Such news expression may threaten the life of teacher, incite enmity between the local populace and teacher, and cause misunderstanding over the duties of security members. On 5 June, the combined team comprising security members conducted a surprise check in Hlayswe Village of Zayityoe Village-tract of Kyonpyaw Township as they received information that the insurgents made homemade guns and explosives.

But they found nothing and came back. Meanwhile, about 30 terrorists attacked them with homemade guns. The clash between security members and terrorists took about 20 minutes. Then, the terrorists retreated. Three terrorists found dead and two were arrested with their firearms. One of the security members was injured. Therefore, the people should consider the news spreading on Facebook pages whether they are true.
