SAYADAW Ashin Pannajota, aged 52 and 16 vasa, a Chin hilly area missionary, has been living alone in Twideng Village on Mindat-Matupi road by building a monastery for about two years. The Sayadaw left for Mindat by Nissan Note (the number plate under scrutiny) on 4 June to sit for Phahtamalat written test to be held in Haka on 7 June.

Then, Sayadaw was found dead on 5 June as the armed insurgents killed him and set on fire to the vehicle at about 27 miles from Mindat. The officials conduct investigation to reveal the case as the armed groups brutally killed the innocent civilians including members of the Sangha, according to the Myanmar Police Force.
