Illegal drugs worth of K430 million were seized in Hsenwi and Kunlong Townships, Shan State, according to a statement from the Myanmar Police Force.

A joint team of members of the Anti-Drug Police seized 64kg of opium powder, and rounds of ammunition from the TOYOTA VIGO along with Jonemi (a) Santhe, Lao Wu (a) Lee Min Chan (a) Kyaw Htwe, Yanpharwan (a) Wuthee (a) Kyaw Khine on 24 December in Kunlong.

Similarly, a joint team of members of the Anti-Drug Police and officers from the Customs Department also arrested Zaw Htet who carried 19,250 kg of Sodium Cyanide from Muse to Mandalay the same day.
