A delegation led by Yangon-based Ambassador of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea Mr Jong Ho Bom, who had completed his tour of duty, paid a courtesy call on President of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar U Min Aung Hlaing at the Presidential Palace Reception Hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

At the meeting, they discussed the good relations between the two countries, ways to enhance the promotion of diplomatic relations, political progress in Myanmar, development of DPRK and plans, DPRK’s international relations policies, and further strengthening of friendly ties and cooperation between Myanmar and DPRK.

After the meeting, the President and the DPRK Ambassador had documentary photos taken together with attendees.

The meeting was also attended by Union Minister at the President’s Office U Khin Maung Yi, Union Minister for Foreign Affairs U Tin Maung Swe and officials. The DPRK Ambassador was accompanied by embassy officials.
