Union Minister for Electricity and Energy U Ko Ko Lwin met Mr Vladimir Parshin, Chief Executive Officer of Telematic Solution Co Ltd, at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre in Saint Petersburg, the Russian Federation, on 4 June.

The Union minister is currently in the Russian Federation with the delegation led by the Vice-President U Nyo Saw to attend the 29th Saint Petersburg International Economic Forum.

During the meeting, discussions were held on investment and technology transfer related to the adoption of Russia’s proprietary digital meter-reading and smart-meter billing systems in Myanmar, as well as the potential integration and upgrading of the systems currently in use.
