The award ceremony of the Myanmar-China Cultural Exchange Photo Contest, held to mark the 75th Anniversary of diplomatic relations between Myanmar and China, took place yesterday morning at Myawady Media Centre on Moegaung Road, Yankin Township, Yangon.

The event was organized by the Myanmar Arts and Culture Development Association (MACDA) in cooperation with the Photographic Society of Myanmar.

At the ceremony, MACDA patron Academy Award-winning director and Pachi Soe Moe and Chairman of the Photographic Society of Myanmar U Than Tun Oo delivered opening remarks.

Awards were presented to first prize winner U Saw Aung Thein Tun, second prize winner Shwe Inntha Khin Maung Win, third prize winner Mazda Aung Myint and consolation prize winners by responsible officials.

Afterwards, officials from the association signed a memorandum of understanding with the Belt & Road Development Myanmar Corporation to cooperate in implementing development projects and to promote social and economic development in Myanmar through collaboration with international organizations, private enterprises and business groups.—MNA/KZL
