TATMADAW members and the Myanmar Police Force who perform national defence and security duties regardless of the nature of their assignments, the season, the location, the time, or the hardships involved and who have devoted themselves to their responsibilities throughout their service, often at risk to their lives, will be recognized and honoured by the State for their diligent performance. A special service allowance will be provided monthly based on their length of service.

Tatmadaw members and police whose service is 10 years or more on 28 February 2026 will receive K30,000 per month, those with 15 years of service or more on that day will receive K50,000 per month, and those with 20 years of service or more on the same day will receive K100,000 per month as a special service allowance. The monthly special service allowance will take effect on 1 March 2026.
