National Defence and Security Council Office Executive Chief U Aung Lin Dwe received the Ambassador of the Republic of Nicaragua to Myanmar Mr Mario Jose Armengol Campos, who is based in Hanoi at the guest hall of the National Defence and Security Council Office in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

Both sides held cordial and open discussions on further strengthening bilateral friendship and diplomatic relations, expanding cooperation across multiple sectors, including trade and investment, and accelerating positive cooperation at the international level.

The meeting also saw Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs U Ko Ko Kyaw and officials concerned.
