THE Religious Affairs Department of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Culture will organize the Abhidhamma, Honours and Visuddhimagga exams at the designated exam centres from 6 December (Saturday) to 8 December (Monday).

The nuns and civilians who do not pass the governmental Pahtamangetan (or) similar level test are eligible to take the Abhidhamma (ordinary) exam. Those who passed the Abhidhamma (ordinary) exam can sit for the Abhidhamma (honours) or Visuddhimagga exams.

Only the nuns and people who do not pass the government Pahtamagyitan, Dhamma Sariyatan or similar exams can sit for the Visuddhimagga exam.

The candidates are allowed to take level one or level two or level three of Abhidhamma, honours and Visuddhimagga exams. Those who have not yet passed all three levels in the past are allowed to retake the three levels together.

The exam cards will be distributed to the township Sangha Nayaka Committees in Nay Pyi Taw, regions and states, and all the candidates can receive them before the exam day.
