U Naing Min Kyaw, Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs, received Mr Abhay Thakur, Ambassador of India, yesterday at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Nay Pyi Taw.

They discussed and exchanged views on promoting the existing bilateral relations, on the matters relating to cooperation between the two countries, border trade and border security including consular affairs.

Also, present at the meeting were officials from the Embassy of India and senior officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
