The Myanmar national bodybuilding and physique sports athletes won the Champion of Champions Overall Champion trophy along with four gold, two silver, and three bronze medals at the XIX Southeast Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand, from 18 to 25 August.

On 21 August, Myanmar athletes secured the Champion of Champions trophy through Chan Myae Tun. In the MSP Over 175 centimetres event, Myo Thura Kyaw won gold, while in the MSP up to 175 centimetres event, Sai Thit Naung Oo also won gold. In the Men’s Bodybuilding 75-kilogramme event, Chan Myae Tun claimed gold, while in the WMP up to 160 centimetres event, Su Mon Hlaing secured silver. In the WMP Over 170 centimetres event, Ma Zu Zu Thant won silver.

In the WMP up to 165 centimetres event, Ma Lin Lin Soe won bronze, while Than Zaw Htaik secured bronze in the WAP up to 167 centimetres event, and Maung Maung Sai earned bronze in the Men’s Bodybuilding 70-kilogramme event.

A total of 10 Myanmar athletes participated in the XIX Southeast Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship, with six of them securing medals. From 22 to 24 August, Myanmar athletes will continue to compete in the LVII Asian Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Championship at the same venue.

The Myanmar bodybuilding team is led by Myanmar Bodybuilding and Physique Sports Federation Vice President U Kyaw Than (manager), referees Daw Yi Yi Win and U Aung Naing, coaches U Win Lwin and Daw Tin Ma Ma Myo, along with 20 athletes. Among them, 10 are competing in the XIX Southeast Asian Championship and another 10 in the LVII Asian Championship.
