Union Minister for Information U Maung Maung Ohn met with Thai Ambassador to Myanmar Mr Mongkol Visitstump along with his delegation at the Ministry of Information meeting hall in Nay Pyi Taw yesterday afternoon.

Both sides had cordial discussions on Myanmar-Thailand friendship and the ability to publish accurate news, promoting cultural and tourism sectors as well as cooperation in all sectors, not just the media sector, between the two countries.

Deputy Minister U Ye Tint, the Permanent Secretary and officials from the Thai Embassy attended the meeting.
